Just the other day, in a big social gathering I came across this guy who was horribly rude and offensive with other guests, he took offence to a seemingly innocuous discussion where some people had a mild difference of opinion with him, he recklessly engaged in personal attacks against the guests and their family members and stuff like Ooooyeee maino nahi jaande ho and bs like that. I have heard about this breed before but had not witnessed this behavior on a personal level.
My question is have you had experience with such kind of people, what make them who they are, is it genetics, is it environmental factors, chemical imbalance,mental disease or they simply missed a rung on the evolution ladder

Genetics? Mental disease? Not sure how that would play a significant role on someone's ignorance but I imagine that's all it is.

My neighbour and best friend is a psychiatrist and he told me that humans only learn by observation and experience, do you think that this might be a tell tale sign of what kind of behavior the parents displayed in front of the kids, also there are studies that if you do not teach kids empathy by age 5 they will never ever learn empathy.

sometimes apple falls far from the tree. we shouldn't always blame the parents. but even if the parents don't teach their kids right from wrong, once you are an adult, you are smart enough to make your own choices and develop your own personality. parents behavior can play a role but sometimes even the nicest parents have really troubled kids.

It does but very rarely, I can almost always tell if a child is being raised in an abusive environment. With child protective agencies and psychologists it is a big no no to yell and use foul language in front of kids, especially lack of empathy is almost impossible to overcome.
