Oh gosh i remember the tiredness. I have heard breastfed babies tend to get hungrier more often. My daughter did the same, despite everyone around me telling me she should be going through the night without a feed. She would wake up often at night until i stopped breastfeeding at 18 months. Thats when she started sleeping through the night. Before that, it was a comfort issue with her, even though she slept with us in our bed.

At his age, try soothing him in other ways at first. But its easier said than done. Usually i was so tired, it was easier to feed her than to get up and pace around with her. Try rocking him if you can or let your husband handle him for a weekend or so. I totally sympathize with you.

cheez if he does the same thing for next 12 months I will def. go mad!

I freeze a lot so our heater was at 25 degrees but last night I turned it down to 10 and he slept much better. I heard that babies sleep better in cold rooms so I wanted to giv that a try. He “only” woke up 4 times and for the first time in weeks I had 3 hours sleep without any disturbance. Usually he would wake up every 2nd hour in the past 6-8 weeks.

So I will give it a try with colder room and just sleep with warmer clothes myself, and trying to get him used to paci and bottle milk in addition to rice cereal for the evening meal…I hope inshaAllah that will help.

I was so desperate the other day that I drank zam zam and made dua that my milk would made him feel full for longer periods:D
