So, since I’m a new-ish member, I thought I’d ask:
Who are some CONSISTENTLY good home-based designers here on Gupshup? I know that we had this thread before but maybe we can post again? There seems to be a lot of threads on individual designers and bad experiences.
Who are people that have always delivered and been great?

Malaika Adnan, she doesnt use GS much but is on facebook.

I've had kapray from prototype and crystal bracelets, great experience with both. Sabas collection and madihas atelier on Facebook, a bit more pricey but quality was fab.

prototype, she is the best here and even if she will make a mistake as we are humans, she will allways try to fix it before sending you the suit. :k

I have ordered with her multiple times and she always delivers her best. As someone has mentioned before...if there is an error on her part she would go over and beyond to rectify it....I had this one suit where I had sent her embroidery designs for the whole suit (sleeves, side panels, daman and back).....when she got them embroidered the sleeves design was diff from what i had asked her to get done and she took full responsibility and got me new sleeves done at her own cost....I am a super fussy person when it comes to designing and stitching of my kapre and with all my "fussy" self I can say that proto was one of the very few people who lived upto my expectations...with her I never had any haunting sleepless nights where "THAT" dream dress of mine was messed up and it got stuck stuck in my head and I couldn't sleep :)

Ive been working with proto for the past few months, Ive been very pleased with her work. She has great stitching great service and most of all seems like a very nice lady:) I will post some of her work up so you guys can see how beautiful her work is:)

I just recently got my dress that i had ordered 4 eid from prototype. It is so beautiful, i really dont have words! from the kaam, fabric, everything is absolutely perfect MASHALLAH. I tried it on and i feel like celebrating eid already, have been modelling in it standing in front of the mirror 4 about an hour now and its been long since i have been so super excited like a kid, about eid, lol :P Also, dealing with prototype has been a wonderful experience, no complaints at all, she has been prompt in replying 2 all my emails. I have been ordering clothes online 4 quite a while now, never been so happy and satisfied MASHALLAH. Prototype is a true genius at her work and an amazing person 2 deal with.
