sometimes it just happens, we had a storm, ani got scared of thunder and asked what was thatwe told her it was thunder, so now she is scaredof thunder, then at one time she saw a dartjh vader mask that I have, and thought that was thunder..
That reminded me another fear that I have.
I had my car skid once (without any damage) but whenever it snows or rains, and I am driving, there is some kind of fear in my sub-concious that gives me creeps of getting my car skid and often I feel that too even if it is not skidding... what a bummer!
