It's very satisfactory to win without any help from Sehwag and Sachin.. these two have been great in the WC.. but the middle order stepped it up this time.... great knocks by Gauti, Virat and Dhoni...

hahah bhai I was 2 beers down by that time and yes... its never good to lose these 2.. this is by far the best opening combo.. and they had been doing well... I was scared but I was still quite hopeful that we will get close.. thats why I like having Gauti and Virat at 3 and 4.. both are flexible players.. consolidate and then accelerate!! by the time we hit 100 in 19ish overs I knew that we are back on track to win it :D

^^ waleed bro I was at a party and 3 girls actually had tears!! Our generation (<30) of indian cricket fans have grown up on Sachin and we have never seen him so excited and emotional... I also caught one of my guy friends sneak to the washroom when these scenes were on the TV and he came back with his face washed.. hahahahah I know he had tears that he wanted to hide !!!

Congrats India, though I wanted Sachin to score a big one in his home ground... Sachin must have waited a long time for this moment, he is an amazing player and a true batting legend.
