**I felt it was a display of a resilient come back by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif despite there was hardly any negotiations with the Government to bring him back to the country.
A phenomenonal voter support for Nawaz Sharif despite it had created so much sympathy for the other former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto’s party after her assassination.
And also, despite a resounding performance by the Pakistani economy under President Pervez Musharraf’s first-term rule that took to great heights and the nation discovering new frontiers, People of Pakistan still voted for Nawaz Sharif.**
Finally, I would like to congratulate and say thank you to the entire Pakistani Civilisation for making this probably one of the best elections in Pakistan’s history against all odds and setbacks such as pre-election bombings and feudal warfare.
