Congratulations !!! It was no mean feat to beat Australia the way you did. No one was expecting that kind of drubbing to Aussies. All the best for the rest of the matches and there is no India to stop your progress. :wink: Of all the 4 teams, Pakistan is in best situation to win this. All others are very dependent on 1-2 key players and they will fail in one of the matches.

It could still be anyone from Pakistan, Sri Lanka or Australia. With Windies you feel their bowling is weak. But if Gayle has an explosive day + bats deep into the innings, they could prove dangerous for anyone

Pak will need to be on top of their game with both bat and ball if they want to beat Lanka in the SF who will start as slight favourites in home conditions

India and Pak play Srin Lankans best. SL has been India's bunny for quite some time now. You could have seen SL fans pleasure in today's game when India did not qualify. Pak has great chance against SL. If not , SL is winning this cup.

Regarding Gayle... Who can disagree with your comment? But issue is that for them to win worldcup Gayle has to play 2 big inning back to back.Same is true.. If Watson fails they are in trouble and If both Watson and Hussey fail..they are screwed.. I can not believe that they are sitting out David Hussey. It is as stupid a decision as bad as Faf sitting out for SA.

Hard Luck !!!. The match could have gone either way if not for the last over bowled by Gul. But that is the way of Cricket.

That said, I really miss the days of Pakistani heroes... IK,Miandad etc. Then there were players of such great stature. Now even though there arent many heroes like the afore mentioned the team is still doing good apart from some minor mishaps here and there...
