her nasal passage is clear i believe.. i can feel the breath when i put my fingertips by her nostrils… though if i drop some saline solution in and then use suction.. a little does come out…
but the main issue is mucus in the throat… you know the kind where u can cough it out or just gargle away…
she cant do that ofcourse…
what the heck do i do?! she struggles so much when trying to sleep… keeps rubbing her head on the mattress…
elevation doesnt work cuz she just crawls downwards until she can feel the flatness…
camomlile tea we swear by here… initially she would cough up so much crap… but now not so much i use pure honey too (yes sue me).
we have a dr’s appt for her on monday cuz i believe that the hypoallergenic milk may be the culprit behind it.. she gets a rash after every poop session… we are thining cows milk allergy and will be getting her tested…
but then it could also be teething…
argh why are the symptoms so misleading and similar to all other infant ailments!

what do i do with this congestion in the throat?.. how do i get her to cough it up or pass it downwards.. desi totkas? any other solutions?
im so tempted to give her ginger tea.. but that would be sadistic.
maybe crush up some ginger.. take a bit of its juice and mix it with honey.. let her suck on it?
im gonna steam her face.. just sit with her in my gaudi and let her take it in.. i cant do the steaming in the washroom.. it starts to irritate me and make me dizzy... maybe i shall get the man to do it.
humidifier ive tried.. its not working on her for odd reason... it used to work wonders for aariz. :(
she is breathing fine.. just keeps thinking theres something coming up her throat..
a) Guriya had same condition around a year back doctor said that she is allergic to something (not milk) gave her a medicine that he said could be safely given to her for 2 months but alhamdolillah she was better in 1 week and we stopped after that and to date masha allah she has been fine so I am sure your dr will do a correct diagnosis and then treatment.
b) Sometime back a doctor also suggested to put hot water in a thermos & let it be without lid and put the baby on your lap and hold the thermos and then take the steam and offcourse put something on top like towel. Ammi used to do that with Guriya .
if it is mucus then curing the symptoms may provide temporary relief but you really want to get to the actual cause so that you can remedy it completely......
i use pure honey too (yes sue me).
