Cong: World should think of declaring Pak 'terrorist state'

Re: Cong: World should think of declaring Pak 'terrorist state'

^They were not uprisings but ISI sposnsored terrorism and we have crunched these terrorist activities to the last bite.Besides, these terrorist actvities could not take out even an inch of land from India.

I am sure you don't wanna hear about Gujrat because it was one of the most shameful events in your history and to make it even worse, MODI became so popular in India that he is possibly going to become your next Prime minister.
(Compare that to pakistan where party of extremists hardly get 5% votes)
You may not think or act like Modi but 95% of Pakistanis do NOT support those terrorists either.
And don't forget that your Army soldier was mastermind of Samjhota Express bombing (blamed on pakistan straight away) in which a lot Pakistanis were killed, RAW is sponsoring terrorism in all parts of Pakistan killing hundreds of people.

Dude, SWAT, the switzerland of Pakistan has just fallen to Taliban

This is a place my family used to go as a resort to go skiing

Whats next, will Pak Army let Murree fall too?

Again this is an internal matter of India. Sponsoring and denying terrorism in another country is not.

The samjhota express bombing is still not proven. The accused have been captured and put behind bars and police is doing an excellant job with this. If Pakistan did something similar after parliament attack and we should not have had a Mumbai.
Coming to Modi, yes it is shameful, no denying. But it has nothing to do with the comparison I made.

Finally you realize the truth !! All is not lost :p

lol... Yeah, its all the ISI that caused it.. People dont start fighting for independance from a country overnight. Indians have a lot to answer for.

And no one wants an inch of your land, we wouldnt want to contaminate ourselves.

It will be fine. This has as much to do with the War in Afghanistan as anything else.
The situation will improve gradfually as the situation improves in Afghanistan.

Whats required is commitment..

Yeah, I admit it... It was great watching you Indians run around like roaches at the site of the ten Pakistanis.

LOL... I hope you hurry up in proving the guilt of the accused in the Samjhota attack.
Pakistan is doing something similar.

And internal matter or not, why arent you people jumping up and down for justice when it comes to the 2000 people killed in Gujrat the same way you do about Mumbai? I dont see anywhere near as much shock and disgust over those attacks and the subsequent reelection of Modi...

This whole drama India is pulling seems like nothing more the pure hypocracy.

The terrorits who were responsible for most of the killings had their support from Pakistan ..... and once pakistan tried to curb their activities ... the level of voilence went down cosiderably.

In the past whenever elections were to be held in Kashmir .... the militants used to give a call for boycott and for effect indulge in some killings .... thuis creating a fear in local populance .... which in turn would lead to low voter turnout.

This time no such call was given by the militants based in Pakistan .... even though the sepratist political leadership had called for a poll boycott ..... now the sepratist were confident that the people would boycott the polls as the had seen a high turnout during the summer. So it was a way of making a statement .... see there was no complusion form the militants .... the ploy Indian's would use when anyone would point to low voter turnout in Kashmir, it is the fera of gun ... they would say ....

But the whole excercise backfired and people went in large numbers to vote .... So don't you worry Kashmiri's are not going anywhere ...

Samjhota Express is still not proven, it actually happened EXACTLY 2 years ago and you are blaming us for taking a MONTH to investigate whether Pakistani soil was used to plan those attacks. Didn't India blame ISI, LET for Samjhota Express?? Now it turns out that an Indian soldier was the mastermind but you may claim that he was working for ISI i guess.

This is again an internal matter of India. Indian govt and Police is doing a good job in getting the culprits responsible for Samjhota. Nobody is accusing us of delaying our investigation or not acting against terrorist. Who ever it is , even if he is a chief of army staff, he would be taken care off unlike Pakistan where everything is under military hand. We dont see military in India trying to save this particular person from gallows.

Nobody is accusing us of delaying Samjhota probes and those who are responsible are anyway behind bars. Its the judicuary which is slow.
May be u should look at the definition of terrorism and rioting.
Modi might be evil to many but for Gujarat he is good and hence his reelection. Hypocracy and Pakistanies are synonyms.

10 fully armed and highly trained terrorists killing hundreds of innocents including women and children in Mumbai is not bravery.

But the highly trained Pak Fauj surrendering to Taliban in Swat surely is ;) I am sure you enjoyed watching that too.

lol @ your internal matters, so what if 50 plus Pakistanis died??

And about your Indian police doing a good job, here is how it all started :

Pakistan to grill India over Samjhota train blast probe

  • India says investigation indicates New Delhi acting without prejudice

By Iftikhar Gilani

NEW DELHI: Pakistan is preparing to question India over the probe into Samjhota train bombing at high-level meetings next week. India had initially blamed the 2007 train blast on individuals based in Pakistan and Bangladesh. But has recently arrested Hindu extremists, including a serving Indian army officer, with regard to the Samjhota blast as well as Malegaon attacks in the Indian state Maharashtra in September this year.

The foreign ministers and interior secretaries of the two countries are scheduled to meet next week.

**India had initially named banned Pakistani organisations, Lashkar-e-Tayyaba and Jaish-e-Muhammad in collusion with Bangladesh-based Harkat-e-Jihad-e-Islami (HUJI), for the Samjhota train blasts that killed 68 people.

Indian officials had even handed over a suspect’s photograph and also mentioned the names of other suspects to their Pakistani counterparts.**

Forensic evidence and the recent leads, found after the arrest of a serving Indian army officer and scores of Hindu activists, have now established a link between the Samjhota Express bombing, the May 2007 attack on Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad; and the October 2007 attack on the shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer. Police have now accused a Hindu group, Abhinav Bharat, for these bombings previously blamed on Muslim and Pakistani groups.

Prejudice: Sources in the Ministry of External Affairs said they are ready to face Pakistani queries on the incident.

“This is a perfect example to indicate that New Delhi did not act with prejudice but on the basis of available facts,” said an official.

It was not only blamed on Pakistan and Bangladesh groups, their names and pictures were also realesed and now we all know who was responsible.
Then you wonder why we are hesitant to believe Mumbai attacks were planned by Pakistanis.

You can lol as much as you want. But its a fact that the terrorist activity happened inside India. May be Pakistanies were killed. But Indians were killed also. This was the first time a hindu group was responsible for a blast, hence at first the usual suspects, HUji and Jeish were investigated. But soon it was realized that this Hindu group was responsible and hence the police action.
No one prodeed India to act against these HIndu group and none in Indian army had any problem getting their personal tried for terrorism.
I remind you again. If Pakistan had acted in good faith after Parliament attack , then the situation that Pakistan and India are in now would not have happened.
The onus is on Pakistan to prove its trustworthy. But I dont see that coming. You have lost your country, its self respect and territorial integrity.

I think that is the key point. Indian govt did not deny that the Samjahuta suspects could be Hindu and proceeded with the investigations against them despite pressure from right wing Hindu groups.

Pakistan on the other hand acted against the 26/11 suspects only after the US 'danda', despite India having provided all proof and its own politicians and newspapers confirming the Pak origins of the perpetrators.

This underscores the difference in the approaches of the two countries when it comes to the 'war against terror.'

Re: Cong: World should think of declaring Pak 'terrorist state'

War against terror??
At least we don't have terroists organisation running the country.
BJP is a hindu extremist party and ruled your country for 5 years(all set for another 5 years), at least terrorists aren't sitting in Pakistani parliament :-)

ISLAMABAD: The NWFP administration and Maulana Sufi Muhammad would immediately move to wipe out the RAW elements and criminals from the Malakand division as the government had sufficient evidence of Indian involvement in the Swat lawlessness, a source told The News.

The key NWFP government source, who has been involved in the successful negotiations between Tanzim Nifaz Shariat-e-Muhammadi (TNSM) chief Maulana Sufi Muhammad and the ANP government, further revealed that it was agreed in the talks that all the closed schools in the area would be reopened, the Army would not be withdrawn and the police would be redeployed at all the police stations to ensure the writ of the government.

The source said the RAW elements and criminals had been involved in kidnapping for ransom, dacoities and blackmailing in the troubled areas of Swat. “We have even caught the RAW agents, both alive and dead,” the source said.

The source held the **RAW agents and local criminals responsible for most of the crimes in the area, saying they were also involved in attacks on military targets. **With the inking of the peace agreement between Maulana Sufi Muhammad and the provincial government, the source said, these elements would be cornered immediately and wiped out to make Swat crime free as it once used to be.

Dispelling the impression that the Taliban would be running the show in the Malakand division following the Monday’s agreement, the source said Maulana Sufi Muhammad, in return for the acceptance of the longstanding demand of enforcing the Nizam-e-Adl Regulation, had asked for the introduction of a strong administrative system in the area to ensure the writ of the government.

The Maulana has demanded of the appointment of clean, strong, impartial policemen and civilian administration officials in the area to ensure that the signed agreement is implemented in letter and spirit.

The system of district magistracy is likely to be introduced in Swat immediately for which the governor would have to de-notify a 2002 notification. The executive officers are also expected to be entrusted with the kind of powers previously enjoyed by the Nawabs and the Walis in the area.

A committee comprising MPs of the area, elders, representatives of the local administration and the TNSM would be set up to review and monitor the implementation of the agreement. As agreed between the two sides, Maulana Sufi Muhammad would visit Swat and start addressing rallies soon after the agreement gets implemented.

The Maulana would personally help the redeployment of police personnel at the police stations, which were abandoned during the recent weeks and months because of growing influence of the Taliban there.

He would also mobilise the people to bring peace in the area and flush out all the unwanted elements. Maulana Sufi Muhammad did not ask for the withdrawal of the Army from the area during the negotiations, the source said, adding that he had rather given his consent for the presence of the Army in the Malakand-Swat areas till the time the government desired so.

The source said those in the government, who had played a pivotal role in making possible what was announced on Monday, included ANP Secretary Information Zahid Khan, NWFP Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain, Minister for Livestock Haji Hidayatullah and Hazara Commissioner Syed Muhammad Javed.

We do have a lot of problems but India is doing it’s best to make things worse for Pakistan by helping those terrorists. Now you will probably say that RAW cannot do this because they are so incompetent blah blah blah but on the same hand ISI is responsible for every damn thing in India.

Well, I sincerely hope that RAW is responsible ;), but I am confident that they are not. You guys trust RAW more that we do :p
