i like the aisle idea for a nikkah ceremony but it is slight copying of he kafiroon so i am a bit wary of doing that in a mosque. maybe i could book a large room in a hotel or something like that.
i was thinking of hiring a penthouse suite in a chelsea harbour hotel in london and inviting family and friends and having the nikah there followed by an intimate meal in one of the dining rooms downstairs.
do you think islamically that could suffice or do we still need to do a walima afterwards. i really dont want to have a big wedding. im nto into it but i do belive some sort of eclebration of the marriage is good.
