confusing question

As they say u should always be faithful to the ones who have done favours for you. But what if those favours had bad intention on them and after that they continue on hurting you with their comments and make u act like a puppet to them, they constantly reminding u of favours they have done for you if you even think of going against their will.
So my question is should we keep listening to them and taking their orders or make our way out of it regardless of they yelling and complaining that we didn’t even care for how many favours they did for us?
PS my friend is in this condition though I can’t explain whole story for some reason.

but if your personality is such you will continue to take orders from them, complain but still be under their influence. if you have rebellion in your nature, you will say screw him/her.

I’d love to throw their favours on their face (with a kitchen sink) if they keep on reminding me of that or expect me to do something wrong in return.

yeh thats what my friend did, she gave up and break all bonds with them, but she sometimes feel guilty and think she should have tolerated it. she asked me if she's done right which I talk sense into her and tell her that she is right and nobody has right to rule over her and treat like their slave and muppet no matter how huge their favours are. what do u guys think?

Nobody else knows the situations and circumstances better than her. But, if you told her to stand up against her guilty feeling, you did right.

Chalakomassi! You don't need to take anyone's orders, you are your own person. Just ignore them. People like that are idiots.
