Degas bhai..sorry to hear abt ur cousin...hmmm... i dont think u shud force ur wife to go with u if she feels uncomfortable...and dont be upset at ur wife abt it either...coz believe me such things r rooted deep into our minds ... and i agree with what Roshi has said..
Fayz also has a good point that maybe if u go alone ur cousin will realise why ur wife dint come with u .. and feel hurt..
so.. maybe jus go with an elderly female in your family..maybe your mother or someone else who is willing to accompany you...? u can say that ur wife isnt feeling well.. and she will visit later.. ur wife can talk to ur cousin on the phone and assure her that she wasnt feeling well so cudnt come but will come to visit her later...
i personally wouldnt believe in such thingz but if ur wife really believes in it then what can u do..try to look at it from her angle and dont forc her too much
Sehar is right that people should be there for that female to give her solace and not make her feel like a pariah...so thats why u shud still go with another female relative...and then ur wife can jus talk on the phone and maybe visit later...
