Have you come across through such writers, who are confused and make people reading their books confused.
Mazhar ul Islam is considered to be a prominent story writer in Pakistan. I bought his book ‘guRiya ki aankh se shehr ko dekho’. The stories are as vague as the title of book.
Is it our liking / disliking of particular writing styles that made writers look confused to us or some writers really doesn’t make any sense.
Re: Confused Writers
Abdullah hussain
Apart from Udaas Naslen, do his other books fall in this confusing category. Nasheb was also a confused story (but it suited the characters mentioned in the novel) or may be we see at this work from its dramatisation
Re: Confused Writers
yes, i saw nasheb in drama form which was nice, have not read it yet but udaas naslein was confusing at many occasions and another novel baaghh (tiger)
Re: Confused Writers
with all this confusion, the writer and his fans are complaining that Udaas naslen didn’t get its due place as compared to ‘Aag ka Darya’ and Raja Gidh.
Have you tried Mazhar ul Islam?
