Re: Confused over result of Istikhara ?
@Tahurra Thanks for posting........... I have a question though..............What if someone went against their istikhara........... Lets say for eg. someone prays istikhara and just like Yasir Qadhi said that certain difficulties arise, indicating that it might not be good to go ahead with their plan/choice. But what happens if a person ignores the warning and goes ahead with his/her choice?
Did that person just commit a sin?
If yes then is it an unforgivable sin?

Assalamualaikum
I have no knowledge regarding this thing...
But i know Allah forgives every sin as long as you are doing astaghfar..we are human being..we do sins..but Allah has taught us to repent so He will forgive..here the verses are!
Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." (53) And return [in repentance] to your Lord and submit to Him before the punishment comes upon you; then you will not be helped. (54) surah zumr
Well this is my opinion it doesn't mean its truth..but sometimes we make wrong decision but these decisions lead us to the right path meaning we get closer to Allah subhan wa ta'alla probably after suffering the wrong decision or going against istikhara..so again "khair" is there..we never know the plan of Allah..how He gives us khair..all we need to accept the qadr of Allah in anyway..
Secondly when we do istikhara we should aside our desires and put our trust in Allah....we should make right decisions!!
And Allah knows best!!
