Re: confused about ovulatiion sticks
Nadz, on average, it will take a healthy couple 6-8 months to conceive. I'm assuming this was your first time? Keep using the ovulation indicators - they're highly accurate. Sometimes your ovaries don't release an egg in addition to the other things Mama pointed out. Keep trying and by no means should you be stressed - its TOO SOON in the game! Any fertility specialists will also want you to try for a full year before they suggest any treatments. Keep using the ovulation predictors - you did use it correctly. And the 14th day ovulation thing is only true for *some *women- note down the dates you are ovulating and the first and last day of your period on a calendar or a notebook so you can watch for patterns and know exactly how long your cycle is. The more you know about your body, the better it is! Plus, should you need to consult a fertility specialist in the future (hopefully not, but in case), they will find this information very helpful.
