i have had numerous fights with my family over this so dont even get me started on this .....u think its as simple as that ...in some familes u will be excommincated before they consider such an option like u mentioned so why shud i break kinship ties IF a legal alternative is avalible
So your family will break ties with you b/c you dont' want the fancy/grand wedding, so instead of trying to set them straight, you'd rather get a slave?
