Faisal Majzoob are usually the result of extremist Sufism…
bhatka_musafir Quran and the Sunnah of Rasulallah (peace be upon him) is enough to bring about Ishq-e-Ilahi and Ishq-e-Rasool. No need for the bull them peers/sheikhs come out with...

Sufism is not exactly confined to any sect is it?
He might claim to be a Salafi but his actions do not reflect the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah and the Salaf us-Salih.
And don't believe all the bull-**** western media tells you.
PS. It's Salafi not Wahhabi.

He is a mega Whabbi-all those Saudi funded types are terrorists. Sufism is peace and love, and devoting your heart to Allah.
Saif.. you have a lot of misconceptions about the whole thing, and that is probably because you have never met a true sufi who follows each and every dictat of islamic sharia. Once you meet someone than your views will radically change.
Extreme sufism??? majzoob??? Nah... a person can become majzoob due to many reasons, and not all majzoobs are bad people. They just have no time or inclination to waste on this world. They are in their own world. Very rarely they can provide you any benefit, because they are not focussed on you.
The last category are the jokers, who pass themselves as peers or darvaish or majzoob or whatnot. Unfortunately, there are a lot of them who are fooling people and create the stereotype of peers on television dramas and movies. This precipitates the ignorance, and that is why there is such a huge misconception in your mind.
Do you think any counterfeiter will ever prepare a fake three dollar bill? No, right? But a counter-feiter will prepare a fake bill for $20 or $50. Hence the presence of counterfeit proves that the original exists. Same is true for these fake peers. There presence proves that the real thing is also there, somewhere. You have not found one. And that is fine. You don't have to. You have the quran and the sunnah and you can find your own way. To meet a true scholar is just like getting a teacher who can take you through the teachings of Islam and guide you to the right places to read and find knowledge. A true sufi is just an Islamic scholar with a lot of knowledge and blessings of Allah Tallah that when he talks about Islam and call people to His message, people listen. That is how Islam spread so rapidly in India after Muhammad Bin Qasim conquered Sindh. Then again, you don't have to have a teacher like that. If you do find a good teacher, you are lucky. Else you can just go through life on your own and still be successful.
Do you get what I am saying?
