Re: concept of infinity
So you deny the effects of yellow-green kalawa (Necklace) or black taaveez from pir-o-murshid Aamil Syed Kamaluddin to make the fever go away? ![]()
On a serious note, my post was actually talking about very noble and powerful philosophers of medieval time who brought new ideas to counter the ideas which made people believe universe was infinite.
There is no absolute or concrete evidence what is the size of Universe or if it is really infinite or expanding. Purely based on philosophy and assumptions.

The discussion about universe is simply abstract and scientific ideas are not without flaws or being controversial.**

“Since we cannot observe space beyond the limitations of light (or any electromagnetic radiation), it is uncertain whether the size of the Universe is finite or infinite.”
Cosmology in medieval Islam - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In contrast to ancient Greek philosophers who believed that the universe had an infinite past with no beginning, medieval philosophers and theologians developed the concept of the universe having a finite past with a beginning (see Temporal finitism). This view was inspired by the creation myth shared by the three Abrahamic religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The Christian philosopher, John Philoponus, presented the first such argument against the ancient Greek notion of an infinite past. His arguments were adopted by many most notably; early Muslim philosopher, Al-Kindi (Alkindus); the Jewish philosopher, Saadia Gaon (Saadia ben Joseph); and the Muslim theologian, Al-Ghazali (Algazel).
