Honour and Honor killing in tribal areas show that how exploited this sensitive concept of chastity there. ‘Ismat’, ‘Izzat’ ‘Lajja’, ’ laaj’ are very fragile concepts in our part of the world.

In my experience, it most definitely varies from region to region. I think it does change with the passage of time but how much and how quickly it changes depends on the culture.
