I have never used concealer i have never even owned one but i think i should try one out. I don’t have dark circles but sometime bags if my tot has been unsettled. I have no idea which kind or brand to go for, i use mac studio fox for special occasions, or a bb cream for casual times so please advise me accordingly.
I use Nars radiant creamy concealer and like it a lot. Another good one that I tried in the store is Urbban decay one..it feels likea gel-cream and goes on very nicely..doesn't crease or anything of that sort
Re: Concealer
I use the NARS one in custard... I quite like it but it may be too thick for you since u barely wear any makeup. I used a drug store one that was pretty light but nice.. can't think of the name right now though :(
Re: Concealer
Since you already use MAC products, you could start with that brand. MAC Studio Fix concealor is great if you have oily skin and want something heavier. If you skin is normal to dry or you want something lighter, then try MAC Moisturecover or MAC Mineralize concealor.
Well I was out and just couldn't wait to try a concealer and after seeing good things mentioned about the maybeline one I bought one. If it goes well I can later try the more expensive brands.
I have just ordered a beat blender too, they seem like applying concealer and foundation is easier and never finish too.

Re: Concealer
I use my old MAC Full Coverage foundation (the colour no longer matches my face as a whole) as a concealer.. it's supposed to be the same formula as one of their actual concealers but at a much better price..
I sometimes use Mehron but I prefer the MAC one over it..
Re: Concealer
I am also a concealer newbie. I recently picked up Bare Minerals BareSkin concealer after sampling/trying a few at Sephora. I fully expected to walk out with either UD's Naked concealer or NARS as I'm fairly loyal to those two brands but surprisingly neither had a shade that was a good match for me! The BareSkin was perfect, not too heavy, easy to blend and only $20 :DSephora said it has been getting rave reviews and selling really fast
Full niqab also works very nicely.
Re: Concealer
If you have no dark circles or very little you dont need even medium coverage concealer. Im the same and i bought a medium coverage one and now a barely use it! All you need is a light concealer maybe thats highlightening should be enough. The garnier eye roll on or rimmel true match are both light coverage and good.
Re: Concealer
hi all. I think every ones given a very honest and comprehensive reply to a very important thread. I personally believe there is no need for a concealer if you can get hold of a full coverage foundation. The foundation should better be water based and not cream based as the cream based foundation get set under the eye area and makes the lines and dark circle feel more obvious.
If you layer one thing after the other it will be more obvious under the eye area and will also look creased. For under eye area the less is more, just apply a little bit enough to cover up the dark circles and if its really bad only then apply another layer of foundation and tap with the sponge and set with the loose or compact powder .the makeup will last longer in this way.hope this helps

I couldn't agree more....I had trouble finding the right shade, because I just in the middle medium, with very little yellow and red, but thankfully after couple of trips to the store, I found the right shade :)
Their concealer is super light and airy, I wear it by itself the days I don't feel for a made-up looking face
If you haven't already, try the their original foundation too - again a little tricky to find the right shade but its gives awesome even coverage (I call it my grocery run foundation) :D
Re: Concealer
Best thing would be to go into a store and get the sales assistants to try on concealors!
