Re: concealer for dark circles

bobbi brown corrector and concealer. a little-than-little goes a long way.

Re: concealer for dark circles

Bobbi brown has very good concealers as it matches our skin colour very well. I am using the same.

Re: concealer for dark circles

Im not very active on this site but i HAD to post on this one coz i recently discovered something really amazing for dark circles! Its called "erase paste" by benefit. and you can double it up with your existing foundation or concealer, though you probably wont need to. trust me, it works so well!

Re: concealer for dark circles

I would say the Bobbi Brown color corrector and concealer for sure too. You can go with the erase paste instead of the Bobbi Brown concealer but for sure get the corrector. These concealers are all very creamy so they have a tendency to crease so make sure you set it with a powder. I personally love the benefit Powderflage made specifically to set under eye concealer.

Re: concealer for dark circles

I usually don't wear makeup...but when I do I use the concealer by MAC....and then I apply the Mac studio foundation. I find that they conceal dark circles and blemishes well.

My aesthetician told me a few days ago that dark circles can even be a result of not being hydrated enough. So, make sure you're drinking plenty of water, and that you're moisturizing your under-eye area well. Sufficient sleep and a multivitamin also help. And applying potato slices can reduce the darkness as well. I know that concealers/foundation can temporarily cover up the problem....but once you remove them...it's still there, so I think it's better to try to tackle the problem at the root so you don't have to be as dependent upon the temporary fixes.

Re: concealer for dark circles

omg I was gonna recommend the benefit paste as well! Its perfect for dark circles...its A bit pricey but lasts a long time because its so thick u only need a little bit. I use it for mt acne and love it!

Re: concealer for dark circles

BASQNYC Cucumber Tea Eye Gel

this cream seems to be pretty affordable being at between $19 to $24
and the review it got from this eye cream review site was a 96/100 so i’m fixin’ to buy it. it seems to get rid of dark circles or any negative eye area issues

the other is Lifecell…supposed to be the best when it comes to this problem of dark circles.

anybody ever try these two products? :hmmm:

Re: concealer for dark circles

I agree with the first two responses - Bobbi Brown Peach Corrector is an excellent concealer that looks flawless when you blend foundation over it. MAC Studio Finish is also notably good. Cover FX (at Sephora) has a cream foundation that has really good coverage and can be used as a concealer.

Re: concealer for dark circles

every concealer I have used so far makes my under eye area look gray. I have hereditary eye circles and there is nothign taht can be done, per my dermatologist. I even tried a MAC concealer and it also made my eyes look gray. Are these concealors better?

Which makeup counter keep bobby brown and benefits makeup? Mac, Estee Lauder, or Clinique? These are the only three we have available where I live.

Re: concealer for dark circles

^i got my bobbie brown corrector from a belk store but it depends on where you live and which stores carry that brand in your location

Re: concealer for dark circles

^Whatever concealer you use, I would recommend a brightening pen on top like Dior Skinflash or YSL touche eclat, if neither of these suit you Estee Lauder, No7 (my sister uses this one) and other brands also now do them.

But I would recommend a liquid concealer that doesn't settle in lines or look dry to go below this.
