Computerized Marriage Certificate

Salam everyone,

I want to know if anyone has computerized Marriage Certificate? What does it look like? Does anyone have any sample that I can look at. Did anyone encounter any problems getting it attested from Foreign Affairs Islamabad.

Also, my marriage is already registered. Does it affect me getting a computerized Marriage Certificate?

Please help me. I had no idea where to post this but thought someone who is recently gettting married/ got married can help me out.

I didnt know that there were computerised marriage certificates now, if some one can help him please do.

I would also like to know if the computerized certificate has any expiry date.

One of my friends got his marriage certificate and faced many problem but if you have some strong relations in UC (Union Council) then no problem.

Here you go,
Best you can do is visit your local Union Council office. This is the office nearest to where you live (both spouses).

Requests for Nadra Marriage Certificates are filed through the UC’s.

They in turn forward your request to the Nadra office.

Where did you get married? In case it was in Islamabad, then you need to find a local UC in Islamabad.
In case the marriage took place in some other city, you will be required to visit that particular UC (In some cases, UC’s will oblige and help
out even if the marriage took place in other parts of the country).

But i think you should contact some Agent outside of NAdra office and get assistance from them …:cobra:
