I’ve recently moved to the States and started college. I’m currently taking all general ed courses and thinking of majoring in computer science. I’m at a community college right now and will be transferring to a 4 year university after one or two semesters.
I have a few questions regarding the degree.
Is this a good choice in this economy?
Do I have a good chance of getting a decent job right out of college with a CS degree?
Is UMD college park a good CS school? If not, what other schools are good enough and close to Washington DC?
