Computer getting Stuck!!Plz Help

I dont know what is messing my laptop.It keeps on freezing. I even installed the att antivirus.It didnt show any viruses. When I open the Window Task Manager…it shows The CPU usage as 100% and then it keeps on going down and up. What is up with that.I try using t he disk cleanup, it runs fine but doesn’t let me clean it at the end.Same with Disk Fragmentator.Please some one let me know how to fix this:(

Give some details. When does it freeze?
Open up the Task Manager and see what's using up the CPU?

I have opened the task manager.It says 52 processes.and the cpu Usage keeps on changing goes anywhere from 50-100%
what other information do you need.

i think A1 meant like…look thru the task list and see which program(s) are using the most amount of CPU.

Try running the anti-virus in safe mode. It’s recommended. You may also want to run a anti-spyware like Search & Destroy Anti-Spyware, and AdAware. Download/install/run and usually they can sweep up some tracking cookies/spyware…

Usually it’s some sort of spyware and/or viruses that can drain your pc resources and tie up your CPU like that.

Try avast! it's free and a useful non complicated anti virus which always runs in the background, never switches off.

At the end of all these posts there should be that unsaid comment " open the window, make sure no one is passing by and chunk it out!"
