I think Toystory3 was a game turned into 3D movie, unsure about that.

Resident Evil :stuck_out_tongue: I know the films really have no story…specially the last one…but am such an action geek…I love them.

They should make a proper movie for Final Fantasy…

The made Final Fantasy Advent Children as a sequel to FF7.

I tried recently to look for the final fantasy movies…but I couldn’t find it in an order…

so they should just make a proper movie series :smiley:

They’re currently trying to make an Uncharted movie. The game is about a treasure hunter, kind of like Indiana Jones. David O Russell was going to direct with Marky Mark, but he was butchering the game so he got kicked off. It looks like Sony wants to do it right, and I hope they do, because the game, with its cut scenes and superb voice actors, is basically a movie already.

Microsoft was in talks for a Halo movie a few years ago with Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings) directing, but it got scrapped basically because Microsoft and the studios couldn’t get along. That would have been awesome. I don’t have an Xbox and I’ve never beaten a Halo game but the story is pretty interesting.

And Japanese RPGs would confuse the hell out of most audiences. They even confuse most gamers. The staples of JRPGs are definitely unique, and I love them, but I know people who just can’t get into a game like Final Fantasy, and would probably skip a movie about it.

The Street Fighter anime cartoon film is amazing! I love the graphics.

The film version with Kylie Minogue and Van Damme is a bit cringe worthy but I would still watch it if it was on TV just cos I loved the Street Fighter games.
