Hmmm. It could be one of those situations where the person was preoccupied or overlooked…but when they focused upon the matter and when it was brough to their attention…their compliment truly is sincere. But how does one determine that for sure? Wouldn’t it depend upon the nature of the relationship and the level of trust?
