Compliment from spouse

Re: Compliment from spouse

:omg:

Maybe because your kids are around and he doesn’t want to say such things in front of them, silly!

Re: Compliment from spouse

Problem is me myself. I don’t even let him say anything, as soon as he starts to look at me with love in his eyes I get all red and quickly change the topic. :clown:

or get really angry.

Re: Compliment from spouse

I can totally imagine Psyah telling Hareem this - only to motivate her to keep washing bartans.

Re: Compliment from spouse

and then you complain! Typical woman :emmy:

Re: Compliment from spouse

Now that I’m thinking about it I have realized that it’s my own fault for not letting him open about it. I’m just too shy. :sheen:

Okay so where are all the married guppans and guppies? Please share your experiences.

Re: Compliment from spouse

They are probably cursing their spouses as we speak...

Re: Compliment from spouse

My spouse would shower me with compliments

Re: Compliment from spouse

^lol, let's hope not. It feels good when he compliments me and I am not shy about it. He compliments on little things and at times when i am not trying to score any compliments from him. He notices little things very quickly. I have been dating him for a long time and he's been this way the whole time. So obviously I dong have anything to worry about. Hearing other women complain about how their husbands don't notice anything they do made me wonder if this is a norm among desis.

Re: Compliment from spouse

Okay. What do you mean by "other women"?

Re: Compliment from spouse

Women that I know in person and some that recently got married. Also I have noticed it here too. Do desi men/women pay less compliments in general? If so, why is that?Just wondering

Re: Compliment from spouse

I thought you were married?

Ok, I read the previous page. I think you meant "had been dating him for a long time".

Re: Compliment from spouse

^I am... I have known him for years before I got married. I hate iPhone autocorrect. I meant to say I HAD been dating him for years

Re: Compliment from spouse

Well, there is no verified answer to your question unless someone decides to do a lab experiment with desi and non-desi men we wouldn't know.

Is your spouse a non desi btw?

Re: Compliment from spouse

^nope and I am not complaining! ^lol@lab experiment

Re: Compliment from spouse

^alright. Few months ago I read an article that said a lot of Saudi women don't get to hear "I love you" from their husband in years.
