Problem is me myself. I don’t even let him say anything, as soon as he starts to look at me with love in his eyes I get all red and quickly change the topic.

^lol, let's hope not. It feels good when he compliments me and I am not shy about it. He compliments on little things and at times when i am not trying to score any compliments from him. He notices little things very quickly. I have been dating him for a long time and he's been this way the whole time. So obviously I dong have anything to worry about. Hearing other women complain about how their husbands don't notice anything they do made me wonder if this is a norm among desis.

Well, there is no verified answer to your question unless someone decides to do a lab experiment with desi and non-desi men we wouldn't know.
