Completing Quran

Someone told me that its not right to complete 1 Quran in less than 3 days.
Is it true?
Can anyone here provide me with ahadeeth relating to this.

:jazak:

Re: Completing Quran

Since its not true .. ahadith cant be provided .. simple as that ..

Re: Completing Quran

although theres nothing wrong with completing Quran in 3 days, but it is preferred to read the Quran slowly and understanding it fully. Read it in 3 days or 2 days, but if you dont understand what you're reading , theres no point.. although u get the reward for reading it, but applying it in ur daily life requires one to read it thoroughly and understanding it to its fullest.

Re: Completing Quran

Quran should not be recited in haste ...that is it .. the 3 day limit might be an advice from scholars but not a ruling

Brother, I have a disagreement with your hypothesis. May be i misunderstod, please make it clear for me, thx

Let me explain it with an example:

question: Is it any wrong with completing Quran in 3 days
your answer: since its not true, a hadith cant be provided

Question: Is it any wrong with completing Quran in 65 days (or any other number of days)
example Answer: (same as above) since its not true, a hadith cant be provided. (this style looks pretty funny).

If an act is wrong; it does not mean that no hadith can not be presented related to it. like telling lie is wrong, we have ahadith for it too.

Some Ullema made a rule: al aslo fi ashyae mubaha. (actually all things are valid, unless until some ayat or hadith is presented to stop it.) for example buffalo (urdu=bhainss) is halal, because it fulfils the requirment. but it is not written in hadith. it does not mean that if buffalo is not in hadith it is haram.

hope you got my point. thx

Re: Completing Quran

^^ thanx for ur concern..

what i mean is that since .there is no ahadith that i know of .. regarding this .. hw fast to read etc ..therefore .. its ok to read qu'aan under 3 days ...reading fast and not understanding it , reading just for sawaab ..are other issues .. but the question above .. i wanted to keep a simple answer..

although .. narrations of Hazrat Imam Abu Hanifa are that he read a qur'aan each night ..so therfore .. it wud be allowed to read under 3 days .

:)

:jazak: everyone

What poppat and tlk said. Its the haste that is prohibited.

In that haste the best of recitors tend to make mistakes, let along understand what is being read.
