Complaining, Whining, Moaning etc

Do you think traditionally women are seen as the ones who complain, whinge, whine etc?

If so, or not, do you think today men are begining to do these things more than women?

Women are more thoughtful and that is why they complain. Men are such babies!

Hareem..... Traditionally Ive never known a woman not to complain !!!! ( sorry Girl Power!!) although 3rd and 4th generation women seem to have a different mind set......I think all human kind complains in one way or another whether overtly or covertly......I also know men who could take the "MR WHINER" of the Year award... but on the whole, I would have to go with Women do TEND to be more better at it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please note my feedback is based on a GENERALISATION and my own personal experience......... and just for the clarification..................If I am guilty of an occasional " moan"- I kid u not , its on VERY reasonable grounds!!!!!!

Yeah women are more complaining. This is what you call nakhras ;) But if there are no nakhras then obviously women are way too tolerant than men!

Women are most definitely the whiners and complainers however they have a lot more patience and understanding then men. So with that said, for every bad quality we have many good qualities and vice versa.

But you would only make complaint to a person who is close to you, or a person who knows you well, or somebody who is going to listen to you, no? :-/

nope not necessarily...some people like to complain and whine just for the heck of it...i dunno maybe out of habit or something...it can be to anyone or anything :D

so when they complain, do they want problem to be resolved, are they seeking a solution, they want the man to take an action ......or are they just venting out.

I guess that is where guys goof up big time, cause they cant tell between venting and real complain, so sometimes they get yelled back with 'I dont want an advice, I just want you to listen to me' ... and sometimes 'why dont you do something about it when I told you this thousand times' ..

what TLK said. thats the crux of the whining issue. women want to be listened to, without solutions for their problems. the unhappiest woman on this planet is one whose problems have all been solved by her better-half.

to build upon it, for geeky science and engineering majors (yes i wanna bring as many biases to this table as i can), it is hard not to solve the whiny womans issues and throw it back at her face while shes whining, thereby killing any "love" she might have. but the useless arts major male will launch into an uber-ambiguous hyperbole that makes the stupid woman seem like she is special and the center of the universe.

and that is how whiny girls fall in love with hairy men who skip classes.
