Ok, I’d like to ask all Guppies to enter this competition for an Eid-ul-Fitr banner. The winning banner or banners will be placed at the place of the current banner.

There is a 4 member jury (whose members will be kept secret until after the final results are made public)

  • The dimensions of the banner should be: 311 x 90 pixels.
    (You can make it 311 x 100pixels maximum)

  • The word “GUPSHUP” should at least appear once on the banner

  • **You are free to make submit the banner in any format you like: GIF, JPG, TIFF, SWF (flash) **

+ can be animated

  • **the banners can be submitted to the following email addy: **[email=“[email protected]”][email protected]

  • Any banner posted here for the purpose of entering the competition will get discarded/disqualified.

  • The final banners should be in by Sunday 30th of October. To give some time for the jury to decide.

**The banner competition is CANCELLED. **Please don’t send in any banners.

We have decided to cancel the banner competition. There is nothing so festive about the upcoming Eid.

The added note here is that any submission that’s below par of the standards (of art and aesthitcs), i.e. are lame, will unconditionally receive a wholesome backlash from me, myself, and I.

If there is anything our nation needs, it’s the better sense of arts and aesthetics :mad:
