Compensative minds

managing personal finances is a matter of concern and importance for everyone.

but when people have to endure losses or when they do not plan that well, they miss out on opportunities of saving for long term gain and investment.

in such cases, does the mind shifts to compensative mode? i.e., if there was loss here, then look for gain else where. when a gain comes about, the loss is spread thinner than before, to make oneself feel that while loss occured, a gain is also obtained later.

does this happen to many people?

could it be called a sound safety-net economics, if you will?

Yes.............mind compensates(compromises)....but sometime the heart may not!.................:(

Re: Compensative minds

that is true. minds and economics are compensatory. i observed this, too. sindsagar.

hearts are to be dealt differently.
or so is hoped otherwise, everyone will be just a miserable liar.
