how to stop comparing our life with others and be satisfied with what we have?

One cant stop comparing others... its part of nature you kearn by seeing the differences and noting advantages and disadavantages...
However one can learn to be satisfied if one spends more time among the less fortunate and tries to share thier struggles... it helps put things into perspective.

set achievable and realistic goals. once you get confidence, you can set higher goals. nothing is impossible, if you are sincere with yourself. i believe we underestimate our capabilities.

No two people have the exact same path in life...that's the first thing to understand.
You cannot compare your life to anyone else's because you're two separate people. Its like comparing apples and oranges...you're both fruit but different kinds.
I've come to realize that Allah swt distributes his blessings in whatever way He sees fit. Everyone gets some but no one gets all. If you want more, you have to work for it.
The other part of this is to be content with what you have. What is the difference between you and someone born into less fortunate circumstances? What did you do before you were born to deserve the opportunities you've had?
Nothing. Positively nothing.
Remember that and be grateful for what you've got because it could have easily been someone else and it wouldn't have made an iota of difference to the world.

Realize if you have a home. A car. A savings account with money in it and live in the Western World you have a better life than 95% of the people in the world.
Meaning you are the elite in the world. You have the best life compared to 7 billion other people!

the best way is to look at people who are at lower level than you and praise thy lord! it's called 'qinaa'at pasandii' :) ek Hadees hai jiskaa mafhoom hai:

by not making your self money slaves and be grateful of what you have.
And always remember no one is superior to you, same as no one is inferior to you.
