I do not know why but couple of years back, one of my friends went to Pakistan to look for rishta as his family had suggested as well..
Poor guy came back without any luck after a month (though last year, his luck did work and now married)
This is what he advised me:
*“Yaara! meraa bhai! become like Shahrukh Khan or Salman Khan… Girls only want them… not you and me:hinna:” *

it is a very sad thing that people particiapte in. and it leads them to always see their potential mate as some figurine in a snow ball, to be looked at for outer appearance only, and not for the true that their hearts bear.
