How exactly did they rout the Israelis?
They took back 8km of the Sinai and when they advanced further, they got annhiliated by the Israelis.
And besdies, Russia gave big airlift of Weaponry to both Syria and Egypt than USA did to Israel because USA was bogged down in Vietnam.
Egypt got defeated in 1973 because they launched an attack to the Sinai passes and the Israeli air force attacked the Egyptian Tanks because they had ran ahead of their air cover. The Israelis then cut through the egyptian lines and en-circled the entire Egyptian 3rd Army.
As for Syria, Egypt completely re-took the Golan in 4 days and then pressed onto Damascus until a cease fire was called.

Russia didn't have the naval [and air] capability that the americans which is evident from the 1967 war. The americans were able to beef up israel almost right away in 73 when the air force got decimated [nearly lost around 200 jets according to "israeli counts"]. No wonder Saadat said that, "I can defeat Israel but I can't defeat America".

Russia send Tanks, missiles and jets to both Syria and Egypt during the war. Russians loaded up the weaponry in Svestapol and Odessa in Ukraine and sailed through the straits of dardanelles and to Egyptian and Syrian Ports.
And when the War was over in 20 days, Egypt and Syria had the same number of tanks that they had before the war started.
Israel lost around 100 or so planes, not 200.
Infact Russians drove the tanks right to the front before handing them over to the Egyptians and Syrians.
And besides, the Arab aim in 1973 was not to defeat Israel but to capture lost Arab territory.
The American Aid to Israel is over-hyped to explain their defeats and make it look as the Arabs were against insurmountable odds as they tried to defeat the mighty Israelis backed by the Americans.

secondly most equipment was downgraded [delibratly] by the soviets
plus the training of avearage arab soldier was minimal
in the ET , the latest versions used en mass by best trained soviet troops would have caused the NATO significant problems
the '73 and '82 conflicts caused the western press to give a highly exaggerated sense of superority to their weapon systems

One friend of my dad who was a pilot in the Syria mission [67 and 73 deputation] said that the arab MiGs were underperformed in the fact that they would basically fly on fumes when they faced the israelis on patrol. I didn't want to start this my uncle said this that thread like moin, but I think this fact is also mentioned on websites like pakistanidefence by account of pilots who are mentioned in the PAF section.

Sadat kicked them out when Soviets refused to sell advanced weaponry to Egypt. But later on many came back and help build Egyptian Air Bases, concrete air bunkers, SAM Missile sites but then when the war was about to begin they were again evacuated from Egypt.

Nukes are a deterrent. Since Syria was the major strategic threat, Israel deployed most of its forces against Syria and in 4 days kicked them out of the Golan Heights.
After the first 2-3 days, Israel was no longer in strategic danger. And I haven't ready anywhere that Israel threatened to nuke the middle east as you claim

Israel lost 100 Planes and not 200, so you are wrong there.
Egypt and Syria had success because most of the strategy of war was planned by the Soviets and the Arabs actually fought with proper strategic objectives and thats why initially they were successful but then again Egypt launched an offensive to the Sinai passes and ended up losing over 250 Tanks in 3 hours.
Syria didn't press ahead with its attack on the Golan heights because it ran out of missiles giving time to the Israelis to bring in more reserves.

There is no comparison, but US soldier will only enter Pakistan when its fully carpet bombed. Pakistan has huge population to evenge any attak on top of army. see what is their success rate in low populated nations like Iraq and Afghanistan.
US can attack anywhere in the world within few minutes including Pakistan. Pakistan has no capability to hit evenly on USA.
