Hi there

Dnt know if this is the correct forum but any1 know how to reboot my laptop… it has become very slow…

what shud i do?

is it freezed???? if yes, then just remove the battery from the basement of the laptop or pres the pwoer button for 10-20 secods.

else click Start and then try to find the way of restarting..

btw which OS it is....

do you mean you want to restart, ie shutdown windows? If its still responding press Ctrl + Alt + Del together a few times.

or do you mean you want to "clean up" your windows to how it was when new? Thats more tricky. you have to find out why its running slow, could be a virus, could be programs loading that you dont use (on start up). Could be your low on disk space.

  1. if there is a virus then run anti virus program.
  2. go to Device Manager and shut down all other application ,those should be listed on that window,except windows.
  3. Delete all useless data from your computer.

number 2 is applied only if you have some other programs that start up along with ur windows operating systerm.
4.format ur hard drive.(not recommended unless I am there... lolz)

I guess you are talking about formating your hard drive and bringing the computer back to the factory setting ? Right ?
You would not open a thread to reboot , right ? As rebooting is easy just turn it off and turn it back on.
Now if you let us know the make and model of your laptop then it will be easy to give you step by step information on how to do what you want to do.
