Tournament favorites India, after being upset by Australia in the previous match, are all set to take on Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka wins the toss, with Sehwag losing the toss instead of Dhoni. All 3 openers are in the line-up, thus making it a remote possibility that the middle order Indian batsmen may even get a chance to bat.
Aswin, Sehwag and Parthiv Patel replace Kannan, Rohit and Dhoni.

Tendulkar has decided that he will hit his 100th 100 when he has played 100 matches since his last 100.
