Sri Lanka have beaten Australia thrice in four matches this series, something that should give them plenty of confidence going into this match. Australia, however, have an excellent record in Brisbane.

Sri Lanka 280/7 have recovered well from 144/6. They may still lose this game (as they only have 3 wickets left and the RRR is almost 9 RPO) but it just shows the quality and depth in their batting. Their tail-end batting is much stronger than Pakistan's. Hence the importance of every player being able to bat in limited overs cricket
Pakistan if they slump to 144/6 won't even make 200 90% of the time!!

Australia win the 1st Final by 15 runs
SLA 306 all out, Kulasekara (73 off just 43 balls) and Tharanga (60 off 67 balls) pushed Australia to the brink

Watched yesterday till ~ Aussies 155 for 1 - Warner 74 off 75 and Wade out at 64. Then rain came in.
Nice 1st game. Aussies just went to high gear for finals.

^ you said your mom was at the game. I saw a lady seated in the grass area I think on some kind of beach chair - head was covered with cloth, and she had blankets on. To her left were two ~ 16-20 year olds. For some reason, I though she could have been your mom. She had glasses on.

When turned on the match SL were 145/6, i thought its all over and turned off.

yup…so my hubby predicted the games already..he said “Don’t watch…Australia only lost the other day to send India home”, of coz I was like this → 
I hate his stupid predictions…coz most of the time he is right…except when it comes Pakistan cricket!!!
