would you say that at no point in time there were ayyash khalifahs who engaged in drinking and had harems of women for their carnal needs?
forget orientalist views, read historical accounts by muslm sources and you will know it was true.

What would you expect from selective choice of words? You should phrase it thus: I would like to be ayyash like some Khalifas who I believe were ayyash...I don't know who they were but I read it or saw someplace that they were so I think some Khalifas were ayyash and I would like to be like those Khalifas whom I think were ayyash...
See? No confusion there...
