there should be two winners. one for poems and one for gazhals.
Please add some dead lines to the process. here is a guide line.
Submission dead line is every 25th of the month. only those submissions will be considered which are submitted in that month.
Winner’s announcement is 28th
New topic announcement is last day of the month and if winner is unable to announce the topic in stated time frame mod will choose the topic on the first of new month.
without deadlines I doubt it can run smoothly. anyways best of luck and happy poeting
and regarding topic, it’s good but still I think “happy new year” would have been more appropriate as I described in the other input post. did you read those arguments?
Deadline is automaticaly End of Month Till end of the Month the PMs I got will be Considered for Ranking. But thanks for the reminder for dates we should have Free space for Other Topic by winner and Result annoucement. I will put Dates in Above Post.
For the First month I dont want to make it Complicated for Two Winners becuase if we put two, Guppies will have to Send Votes for Both. So I think for First month just One Winner will be enough so we get our selves used to it.
And offcourse I read all Suggestions and Replies

Well this has been a regular feature of this forum for some time a while back so most of the guppies are already quite used to it. All I am saying is that do not re-invent the wheel, try to identify why it failed last time and start from that point onward. I doubt from next month guppies may not send the votes at all.
Think, whats the catch for a regular visitor in sending you the pm with rating? or better start another thread and ask guppies if they can REGULARLY send the votes for the selection.
point to understand is that. *getting vote through a single click is far far convenient than sending a pm, no? *
Another point to understand is that ** through this pm vosting you may not end up with a deserved poem**
The selection formula should get the input from guppies as well as from Mod(s) and senior poets here.

why dont you ask senior poets and readers to help you on regular basis if they have time. They will have to send you their votes in specified time frame. Thier votes should weight a little more than new visitors. (They would not have the option to participate in the contest) Choose only those who can assist you regularly.
