Money is the honey to the insects of opportunity…
Re: comment please

Re: comment please
No money is not everything, though it can solve many problems.
Re: comment please
to 'some' insects' of opportunity
your definition of opportunity is narrow it seems.

read again..."Money is the Honey to the** insects of **opportunity"
Re: comment please

why?

I did not classify the insects, and didn't intend to narrow down the definition of an opportunity.

well it is narrow. unless you are taking poetic license and money here just means benefit..
because what opportunity do monks and nuns see, or tablighi jammat, or peace corps volunteers see? or what teachers go for, even though they could have cosen a more financially lucrative career.
its an opportunity that has nothing to do with money..
Re: comment please
why not ![]()
Re: comment please
its not clear whether the insects being spoken of are actually producing the honey or wishing to acquire it.
Re: comment please
opportunity is actually related to the personality of insects who are always seeking opportunities.
so money is their survival (they would love to have plenty of money) but i rather say greed is their honey.
meray billion paisay! ![]()
Re: comment please
why would you say any of this to begin with? are you trying to get rid of a stalker or something?

You mean all these folks are insects of opportunity to you? However your take reminds me of something that I am tempted to share. A wise guy once said, and I quote, " A proletariat Dictator is never Proletariat". A monk will not be a monk if he was lucky to have 5 million dollars. *Exceptions are always above and beyond. *
Stress of my argument was on "insects of opportunity".

Re: comment please
You got it right this time, “honey” is metaphoric, and so is the word “insect”. See how badly we want an agreement…lol
Re: comment please
why?
I owe you an explanation, and I would...
Re: comment please
...but you have a habit of not paying your debts?
explains the anti-money stance somewhat

then come down to my level and explain the agreement ![]()
Re: comment please
"Hope is what keeps us alive", as someone once said. Opportunities are what we are always hoping for to further ourselves. Financial gain is not always what "furthering ourselves" refers to.
