watched the first epi of Yeh bhi kisi ke beti and it looks OK. I just couldn't swallow the discrepancy of Naheed Shabbir wearing very nice clothes when she comes from a lower middle class family. Written by Noor ul huda shah so it might actually be good. Ghazala Kaifi and Nadeem are acting as husband/wife.

I think it comes on every Friday at either 7 or 8 pm.
The first epi was pretty lame - they spent a good 15-20 minutes on the mehndi scenes as it has become tradition to do so in our plays now. Saleem sheikh sees Naheed Shabbir at the mehndi and falls head over heels for her and starts flirting w/ her. He’s already engaged to his cousin but does not pay her much attention. I don’t blame him. The fiance really needs to tone down on her make up!
Saleem Sheikh is Nadeem’s son and the mother Ghazala kaifi is always asking nadeem to tell Saleem to settle down and get married yawn
Naheed supposedly belongs to a lower middle class family and her father is a teacher at a college and she has 4 other sisters. But as I said earlier, the nice restaurants she goes to and the clothes she wears, doesn’t come across as she being in a meagre situation. Oh yeah she likes this bonga looking guy as well but apparently the guy is “poor and jobless” just like her and can only afford to eat at a nice restaurant by the beach side but cannot afford to get married

She has to fend for her parents and siblings and provide for them cuz apparently her older brothers sort of “forgot” about them.
