Since all the other threads r quite serious about how our XI has fared sofar and almost everyone predicts how they will in the coming tests (which BTW isn’t that hard) i thought a bit of a fun, sarcasm will do a good coz a lot of frustration, anger, depression and more will come ur/our way once the umpie in Perth on a sunny morning will call “PLAY”
That’s why i chose the title so please (especially hard-core Pak-Fans) don’t be offended by it … i remember a former memeber of GS started a thread with similar title when Indians toured Aussie and we know how they fared …
I hope u ppl’ll like it …
For me it’ll be a place to see the brightside (if there’s any) of all of it … Since i can already see myself half-sitting/half-lying around 4 am on the Sofa and watching how Mr. Sami is dispatched to all part of the park by Ponting and co. and with seeing it comes Agony and more … When i go to work then i still hear the hammering sound the ball makes once it hits the ads barrieres of a shot from Haydos … i guess u ppl know what i mean
I’ll be following this series not to see if we are winning or loosing, but how much of a fight they put into it and see how our young bastmen (Salman, Yasir, Imran) and bowlers (Rana, Asif/Khalil, Danish) perform out there. I really have no hope from Sami at all, I just wish that some newbie like Asif or Khalil get the cap and outperforms Sami (such a difficult job that’d be :halo: ) so Sami can sit out and have some rest.
i thik this series will define shoaibs career, as if we havent said that before, but i really want to see him play an entire series and not come up with an excuse!!
16 Bakra's took off for a land down-under ( Aus ) ....... now Bakra's traveled far from their home keeping in mind they soon is Bakra Eid so everyone is happy ....... but no one told them that they r the Bakra's which r provided for Bakra Eid ....... once they landed in that special country they saw the junior/part-time Butchers sharpen their knifes and started marking them in order to prepare them so the real Butchers can serve a pleasent meal for thousands of Hungry crowds ...... then they realised that they r the bakra's with whom the Bakra Eid will be celebrated ...... But now they r there and there is no escape :( :( :( :(
don't worry ppl.like a wise man said :D "WE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO LOSE IN THIS TOURNMENT,BUT EVRYTHING TO GAIN" so just keep this in your mind and u guyz will be happy :D even if we perfrom worst than Bangladesh :D

Don't worry janab ...... ur above comments r the first signs of depression and expected agony ...... u'll laugh (maybe not about Bakra Eid) but u'll will Insha'Allah .... J/K
C'mon there is enough seriousness in all this so a bit of "mudhoshy" isn't that bad ...... don't worry once they start the 1st test u'll have enough to read ...... seems u r new here around ...... i know what i'm talking about
The funny thing is that I think for the first time in the history of Pakistan cricket when if we lose this series(and that is a big IF ) no one will be upset. Not us the guppies, not the fans, not the team and not even the coach.
even though i think we have a decent team, the only thing that bothers me is, when did we lose all this faith in our team. Is it our team or is it Australia?
According to Reuter, the Australian Cricket team is planning to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha or Bakr Eid. This might be surprising to a few but the details are that the Aussie team management has decided to celebrate Bakr Eid before the Muslims actually celebrate it. They will be celebrating it from Dec 16th to Dec 20, 2004 and the bakras will be the Pakistani cricketers - 10 bakras and one Bull (Inzi). There is no hope for the Pakistani cricket team / bakras . All the prayers are with them...but by the performance they have given...it looks like the Aussies are gonna have a blast.
No offence, dude.. but this whole Bakra eid and Aussie tour theme is getting to be a bit stale now.... and the test series hasn't even started. Jeez Louise!
as I said... I hope that the Pakistani team wins man....but umm lets be realistic (some ppl would read it pessimistic) after their performance in the tour matches who in the right MIND (not the heart) would bet on Pakistan...but i do sincerely hope that they win...
as for the replies to my post...lol...all i can say is ..tapi tapi jali jali :P and as for the rainy guy...i hope he has better things to do than count sperms ... :)
