Ok, so yesterday, I’m eating lunch with some guys, and this cute Indian guy (granted he’s Hindu, but he’s sooo cute!), is looking for a place to sit.

I don’t know what came over me. I piped up loudly, firmly, and with sheer confidence (and I didn’t even need to have any alcohol for it either!), “Hey, come sit with me!”

He looked startled. And then looked around, opened his mouth to say something. And I go “What? Come sit here and talk to me”.

So he sat down and talked to me and we became the awesomest of friends.

Was that too strong?

lol - PYC - I think what you did is really “play the chat room” in real life…

we do all sorts of things in chat room without thinking oh what so and so will think -

I just think your GS chat took you to that level of confidence.

question: How did the guy react? If he was fine then I think he is probably one of the guppan here…

He was startled, but then was fine. By the end of our conversation, I essentially had made a strong professional contact, so it worked at the end.
