rains are a blessing when they wash away and clear up… but driving in NY, on gcp, today was ..it was.
took 3.5 hrs to get to city , the distance was >30 miles.

any similar life time experience??

you do not make it really.

when you butt in and you put butter on a name/thing/place/animal, the process of doing such an act is refered to as buttering.

Mom, Dad, and Sister flew back from Pakistan on Monday. Got to JFK on Monday evening but custom and Immigration took their sweet 4 hours to clear dad that they missed their connecting flight from JFK to New Orleans via Washington DC. They were schedule to fly this morning at 10 but due to the weather (NY and DC), the flight was delayed for 6 hours. Their flight departed at 3 and got to DC at 6. As a result of this delay, they missed their connecting flight in DC at noon. Now their flight was supposed to leave from DC at 9 but due to the weather, it got pushed back to 11. Just checked the status online and now it will leave at 1 a.m. and arrive here at 3 IN THE MORNING!!! I wonder if it’ll get pushed back further more. I am off to sleep. I’ll have to wake up whenever it gets here.

therefore, it’s an art and not for every tom, dick, and harry.

come to think of it, buttering the wrong way still qualifies to be called as buttering only to make sure the buttered object feels privileged in any condition. That is the key.

what unethical in one culture is totally approved in another. Morality is subjective and relative to the norms of society. Buttering is buttering however you want to justify it. The point is that those who love buttering will do it regardless of its consequences. It’s an addiction. Morphine for the unrested soul of under-privileged community. A way up in the life, a way down in morality, perhaps; however, who cares if society accepts such a behaviour?

PS, are you philosophy teacher or something? your metaphorical use of words remind me of my yesteryears when in philosophy class, I used to run away and teacher used to drill us down so much so that we used to feel as if our brain has been eaten.

if it would rain in desert, then it wont be desert any longer.. that is a non scientific answer. :)
the logical explanation is: the climate of the desert lands is such that the water cycle cannot produce clouds over it due to inadequate or non existent water bodies nearby.
