Salaam everyone,

I just watched a small youtube clip interview of Hasan Nisar that I stumbled upon. I found his thougts to be interesting. I wanted to learn more about him but unfortunately there is no Wikipedia article on him. All I know is that he is a columnist in Pakistan. Can someone please tell me more about him? Is he Sunni/Shia/Ahmadi? Which poliltical party does he support? What are his main views on Pakistani politics? His background/family, etc? I am just curious. Thanks

this guy is stupid..he spreads frustration among already frustrated people..sometimes his language is very harsh...
this idiot keeps talking abt poor people..then y he does not become another edhi..hate him for his so much frustrating comments..

One of the very rare breed of Pakistani columnist who is not delusional and sees things as they are clearly..

Another is Irfan Hussain and then you have upto some extent Nusrat Javed.

Mate Edhi or any foundation like that can provided limited succour that's not the solution. Complete solution will have to come from govt.

well i was not talking abt "complete" solution my friend..he always pretends to be the biggest lover of poor people and their rights..but the matter of fact is tht he is a stupid guy who somestimes cross his limits...i know many people just dont want to listen to him or read his columns beac his language is harsh and comments r frustrating..
i wonder y not isi finds the "permanent solution" for people like him..

There is no other way to jolt people out of their decade long reverie.. Harsh langauge is deliberate and justified..

See even you are accepting that lanagauige is harsh content is on the mark..
You have beef with presentation not the content.. Did it occur to you that he got so frustarated delivering message mildly without much impact that he has resorted to shouting..

Whatever be your objection to his lnagauige one fact remains the guy tells unadulterated facts and hats off to him for that

OK 9 minutes of quarreling and complaining and shouting.

Isn’t it funny that 4 men who are overweight (and perhaps obese) are complaining about “BAD CONDITIONS” with tomatoes and gosht, and wheat.

And they keep on quarreling.

This is MONKEY BUSINESS. pure and simple.

Obviously many people like the shouting matches. That's why the man is on TV.

But remember this, shouting during a soccer game is fun and soccer obviously is a spectator sport.

But national interests are no spectator sport. But we do treat our national issues like a bazari game, and the result is obvious. "Death and destruction".

Pakistan will change for the better when we realize that our leaders and our intellectuals must be low-key, humble, and filled with humility and love. These "leaders" will not shout, and stay away from petty quarrels like one does from plague.

Hassan Nisar is an idiot.

And no wonder we in an era of Qahtu-Rijal, when idiots like him tend to become thinkers. This dumb does not say even a word of substance except ranting, complaining and complaining. Like the loosers who sits in a corner and abuses the whole world.

It doesn't matter if he is Sunni or Shia, his views matter more and i agree with most of his points. He sometimes goes over the top with his critcism but he is definitely a good writer and speaker.

here i share a personal experience with this guy, I use to read his columns and still read sometime but not with passion anymore.

He is good in pointing out and bashing the rulers for ills in our society blatantly, good direct hawkish approach he has on issue and history.

I have been in contact with him cause I was inspired by him, in short, 2nd email i got him he provided a account number and name of some so called journalist and asked strongly to help.

after watching the video above, this guy certainly earns more than me even i compared to my uk pay. and i wasnt expecting this from him at all. well that thing actually put me off and i lined him now with the likes of yellow journalists in Pakistan as ata ul haq qasmi, haqani, zia shahid, etc.

Is there any word else than truth in his whole presentations. A great man who is never claimed to be sold. Real honest, True Muslim .Great Pakistani

Actully popular journalists in Pakistan have very great responciblities and a lot of people who need help contact them and good people like this guy try to manage help for them. Nothing wrong there

He si just telling the truth and I can understand truth is so ugly that pakistanis don;t like any messenger delivering them the real truth..

HE is right on the money when he says in Pakistan businessmen wait for Roza eid season to hike prices and make money whereas in kufra nations it's other way round..

Reminds me of another video where HAji are complainign how they have to fork out 1 lakh each while in India all Haji get govt subsidiy despite that nation not bein ISlamic republic xyz..
