In some culture of eastern white dress is weared when there is funeral but the same dress weared by a western when there is a marriage ceremony. Similary eastern wear black on the occasion of marriage whereas western wear black dress to attend a funeral. Do the different colours of dresses represent something and by this differentiate, East can meet West of its vice-versa.

I think Hindu wear white during funerals and Muslims of Indo-Pak wear black or consider black as colour of mourning, as we see during Muharram.

Wearing black for mourning is by one particular group. I'm talking about majority who wear one particular colour. Majority in Indo-Pak wear white of prefer similar to white color but not in any marriage ceremony. Western wears only black for mourning purpose.

But I don't think that wearing a particular color in funeral is a norm in Pakistani society.. may be due to influence of glamourised media some people follow that, but majority doesn't follow any dress code during funerals. Hosh hi kahan hota hai kisi ko.
