I would like some honest opinions on this but we always feel the white man is so racist on us, but I feel nowadays we Asians are more racist when we look down on dark coloured people.
If you look in magazines, movies etc you always see fair Asians and not dark Asians and they seem to get more respect?
Its the same when it comes to seeing a rishdah for the first ‘oh by the way hes a kaloo’
Whats your view on this?

I once saw a african man in a bus in Islamabad and one khala refused to sit near him! So yes, we are racist! But we dont go and bomb their country thankfully!

Magazines are for business, nothing to do with racism. With same token are we prejudiced against ugly people if movies, plays and whatever shows good looking people?

Not all light coloured people are good looking in my opinion, sometimes der features aren't attractive, sometimes der personality is not nice hence we begin to think they are ugly, so wat im trying to say is its not about the skin colour its the overall package......like me :D
anyways i guess people have to find something to belittle others, the same thing happens in other ethnic communities aswell eg; jamaicans have the whole light skin, dark skin issue aswell.

People in the Far East are pretty obsessed with white skin as well, more 'drastic' procedures like skin whitening injections are common in places like the Phillipines..
