I have a question for all the fashion savy ladies! 
So what colours do you suggest the groom to wear if the birde is wearing a red/maron lengha with silver kaam on barat and same question for walima when the bride is wearing a champagne colour or maybe light green (not sure yet).
He wants to wear a suit both days and not sherwani, so please suggest which colours would look good.

black on walima for sure, with white shirt and champagne tie, contrast would be fab! for wedding, hmmmm....im not sure.

I do like sherwanis very much. I think the groom looks like a dulha in those on the baraat day. They can be made quite contemporary now and can be worn without the pagri and other trappings but that is your groom’s choice.

Yes, I really like the look of sherwani as well, its a nice traditional look for grooms. InshAllah my fiance will wear that on our shaadi with the pagri :) Thought my sister's fiance wants to wear suit on both days. Plus its hard to find a simple and elegant sherwani in TO area in just under a month.

That could work too but if the bride is wearing champagne colour do think a cream suit would just be too matchy machty?

Yeah definately a sherwani on the baraat...a cream top with a red/ maroon scarf thing would look very nice! :)
Suits are very common on the walima day and in ur case a black suit with a tie that matches ur outfit

Since your lehnga is red/maroon with silver, he can wear a grey sherwani...but a nice silvery grey, jamavaar or khaadi silk. It can have silver/gold work on it. I think it'll look nice.

naqsa, the groom does not want to wear a sherwani and it is her sister's wedding.

Thanks mahi for all the pics. I showed them to my sister and I actully like the cream suit with light colour birdal. Although I think they decided to do light for groom on barat and dark on walima. I think both colours would look fine, InshALLAH they will both compliment each other.

Hey guppies please tell me some kinda styles of suit pant for my fiancy.My valima lehenga colour is teal blue and peach pink and i want some matching with my fiancy in the reception dress..What should he have to wear?? please suggest the colours and how we will match with each other?? Most of the bridal outfits can be imagined as being teal blue and peach pink. Just imagine and concentrate on the groom’s suit:

Thnx mahi ...I also prefer light colours for groom's coat...But gray is really common and black is not good..Didnt see any other colour :S
