i wanted to get contact lenses via the net, but am not sure on the different brand names. Does anyone which ones the best brand?

heres a few ive found

  • FreshLook
  • TruColor
  • Acuvue
  • Bausch and Lomb

(the ones i got from pak were a swiss brand, but i umm wrecked them)

well about buying on the net, try finding out if the site is known, and if the quality is good. alot of em sell stuff at less quality than they are showing

Bausch and Lomb are pretty good value for money.

I'd recommend u go to the opticians instead of the net cuz they’ll measure ur eyes and get u a pair which fit.

^^agreed. I wear contact lenses, but not color. I'd go to your optician, and see what pair you are most comfy with. Some brands feel differently from each other, so its better to see what the Dr has to say.

I wore blue Freshlooks contact lenses for a while and many people I came across thought it was my natural eyecolor (eventhough I am tan skin). They couldn't tell I was wearing contacts. I think Freshlooks is one of the best brands for color contacts.

sadzz: Honey or hazel brown would fit you. B&L are good. Run me more than a year and follow PK_TAZ's advice on the optician thingy.

Acuvue are the best if you want a dramatic change but dont wanto stand out
I've got them in green my fav and aqua plus hazel but they are damn expensive
Freshlooks is good value for money, you get 3 for $90 which is alrite compared to one pair of Acuvue for $55. But i only prefer the natural colors in freshlooks like green, gray ( my abs fav ) and dark brown.
The dramatic ones like torquoise and other are just blah.

I've been trying so hard to get the ones that match Angelina's eye color to the Oscars but cant find em :(

hehe. They were surprised that the lenses looked so natural. I'm guessing its because Freshlooks is a quality brand. Other people I know also prefer Freshlooks to others. They were a gift to me so I dunno about which brand is supposed to be better than the other. Only speaking from personal experience. smile

yeah… i have slightly light brownish eyes.. not dramatically light but semi light… i wore greenish (turquoise) ones in pak, and they looked good..

Talk to your eye doctor, they'll be able to recommend one. I eventually ended up with Acuvue2 which are perfect for me.
