going to aisha khadeeja for my shadi jhora ,i always wanted to wear red but like the designers i dea of making the dress in two colour beige shirt and dupata and hot pink or red lehnga…what do you guys suggest???

Love the valima option. Not so crazy about the 1st one. I'm not sure if you've been looking around, but EVERYONE has that same dress...! Its ridiculous! But I'm guessing if you change the colors like you plan, it might look different.

thankyou YP it is neelofer shahids design, i talked to the aisha today asked her about lots of people making this dress but she told me that she is currently only making two jhoras of this design....she said hat i can change the colours if i wanted it to be completely different.

^^ most people dont really go to designers. They get a picture and get a copy made... Might I add -- an 'exact' copy. This design is all over the internet and I have seen 4 brides personally in it. I have mentioned that in a previous thread as well.
I just want you to make the best decisions. It is indeed a beautiful dress but very 'worn' out -- no pun intended! haha..
Just putting in 2 cents to make sure your big day is unique and as wonderful as you have always hoped it would be.

Well if you like the design then go for it. Beige and red would look beautiful. Maybe you can have red piping on the shirt and the dupatta. Also you can change the design on the shirt and that would give the dress a new look.
Instead of going for this jaal type of kaam on the shirt, ask ayesha to pick the design from body of the lengha and apply in on the shirt. Ask her to make a sketch and show that to you. She can have the base of the shirt beige with red and golden beige embroidery.

The only difference between an original and a copy these days is the price. You'd never be able to tell the difference.
But the bottom line is you love the dress. And thats all that really matters then. So go for it..! Do whatever makes you happy. After all, it IS your day!

the valima dress is gorgeous, and despite it being popular, i still love your shaadi option and i think it'll look gorgeous in the colors you've chosen.

aisha had told me to go with the same color scheme of the beige and whatever but i decided not to because when you imagine something it’s different than actually seeing a picture of it…so i was safe and decided to go with the first one…you’re right about it being popular but i’ve asked aisha as well and she’s only made two so far in that design…
i went with the first one’s kaam but not in red…is the valima option also aisha’s design??? she never showed me that as an option!!! 
oh well. i dont think i’d look that great in that color anyway…

btw........aisha's prices are pretty competitive......i dont think they're too pricey. and just an fyi, style diva, dont let her charge you more than 1300 for that first outfit!!!!

its a shop for bridal dresses on Tariq Road, karachi. They make copies of big designers.. they have their own designs as well..
